Plans are well underway to make MosBuild 2019 the best event yet. The move to Crocus Expo, Eastern Europe’s largest exhibition venue, will offer even more opportunities for talks, seminars and events at the show.
With around 40 events and 200 speakers planned it’s set to be another must-attend show. Not only that, new interactive and educational promotional initiatives are already underway. Here’s a quick roundup of the latest developments.
Partnership with Zhenya Zhdanova
After a successful collaboration in 2018 for MosBuild’s Bathroom Biennale, renowned Russian designer and decorator Zhenya Zhdanova is returning to the exhibition to work on several projects in 2019. These will include the Living Room of Dreams as part of the Perfect Home project, practical workshops and lectures, and innovative ideas and inspiration from the well-known designer.
“MosBuild 2019 will be a terrific space,” says Ms Zhdanova. “A place for dialogue between suppliers, partners, distributors and designers. We’ll see a truly wide range of finishing materials and we’ll be able to find everything for creating a dream home.”
VR Space by Diana Balashova
Interior designer and MosBuild ambassador Diana Balashova is designing a virtual reality space for the exhibition using materials on show.
She says of the project: “It’ll offer a futuristic virtual 3D interior model where visitors can put on a VR-helmet to find themselves inside a virtual reality space and can walk through the rooms and explore the details. The visitors can become my co-designers: the technology allows them to change the materials themselves from a wide choice of materials presented at the exhibition.”
MosBuild AcademyMosBuild’s educational masterclasses from experts in architecture, construction and design are always hugely popular. To build on this and share the latest industry knowledge, MosBuild is providing a new online educational programme full of masterclasses, lectures and webinars held by industry experts.
The MosBuild Academy will be launching an exclusive webinar series with designers Diana Balashova and Zhenya Zhdanova, as well as modules for architects on issues such as BIM. Exhibitors will also be able to talk about their latest product updates that they’ll be showcasing at the exhibition. The programme will be available up until MosBuild 2019 from 2-5 April.
Radi Doma Pro partnership
Radi Doma Pro, a B2B website for the construction industry, has been supplying key information on architecture, design, construction, and building materials on the Russian market for more than eight years.
As MosBuild 2019’s General Media Partner, Radi Doma Pro will cover all the show’s key events and create platforms for lively dialogue at the exhibition in April next year. The Low-Rise Russia Forum will be held on MosBuild’s opening day and will bring together leading experts including architects, developers, and representatives of state regulatory bodies.
According to Xavier Dumoulie, Director General of Radi Doma Pro, the partnership with MosBuild has only strengthened over the years and this year it reaches a new level.
The MosBuild Road Show
This year, a brand new initiative has been instigated by MosBuild and Elle Decoration to offer a programme of regional events for designers, decorators, and architects ahead of the exhibition.
The MosBuild Road Show is travelling to major Russian cities with lectures, business breakfasts and round-table discussions. It will also announce the 200 Best in Russia rating of the best Russian architects and designers and Elle Decoration will choose a selection of interiors from regional designers to publish.
Having started in Krasnoyarsk in September, the Road Show continues its route to St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar and then onto Yekaterinburg offering information on the best interior solutions, trends, and modern technologies in interior design and decoration.
The Road Show is designed to promote the exhibition across the country and create a space for ideas sharing and networking to strengthen MosBuild’s extensive professional community.
Stay tuned for the full programme of events at MosBuild 2019 to be announced soon.
