POST-RELEASE FOLLOWING THE EXHIBITION

Back to offline: MosBuild 2021 was attended by 66,588 people from 41 countries and 82 regions of Russia

The MosBuild exhibition of building and finishing materials has been the leader of the Russian market in its segment for several years, but in 2021 it became the only specialized event of this scale in all of Europe.

MosBuild 2021 exhibition brought together the exposition of 15 market sectors - from textile decor to building materials - and a rich business program. The program responded to requests from different target audiences: architects and designers, developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of building and finishing materials, marketers, and DIY market participants. High attendance, scale and multi-format are the key advantages of the exhibition and allow each MosBuild participant to solve their problems in the most efficient way, providing the best return on investment and time spent.

During 4 days of work, 66,588 people became guests of the exhibition, of which more than 26,600 were representatives of wholesale and retail trade, more than 11,000 were interior designers and 9,700 were representatives of architectural and construction organizations. The vast majority, 82% of MosBuild visitors, were purchasing decision-makers, and more than a third of the guests were CEOs and company owners. At the same time, 81% of visitors came to MosBuild to select and purchase construction and finishing materials. The presence of top officials both among exhibitors and visitors, a large share of top management and persons responsible for the procurement strategies of companies, focus on negotiations, purchase of goods and meetings with colleagues once again confirms the status of the exhibition as the most important business platform for its participants.

Exposition

The main point of attraction for guests of the exhibition is traditionally the MosBuild exposition. This year, it occupied 6 halls in 2 pavilions of the Crocus Expo Exhibition Center, the largest exhibition center in Eastern Europe. 720 exhibiting companies took part in the 2021 exhibition, of which more than 150 suppliers of building materials, facades, windows, roofing and tools, more than 80 suppliers of plumbing, water supply equipment and more than 200 suppliers of wallpaper, ceramic tiles, paint and floor coverings.

It should be noted that at present MosBuild is the only exhibition in the CIS, which presents almost all sectors of the building and finishing materials market, and in the current epidemiological situation it can be called the largest exhibition in Europe. Despite the restrictions on travel between countries, MosBuild has confirmed its international status by hosting 110 foreign exhibiting companies from 22 countries. Among them: Iris Ceramica (Italy), Omega Plasto LTD. (India), PEŠTAN DOO (Serbia), NOFER SL (Spain), Leinos, Reincke Naturfarben GmbH (Germany) and many others.

The exhibition was attended by the largest representatives of various market sectors, such as Mosplitka, Rehau, Profildoors, Laufen, Cersanit, Roca, Unitile Group, Miele, Mr. Doors, EUROPLAST, Deceuninck, Exprof and others. In addition, the exhibitors held master classes for professionals and buyers. For example, Veka specialists talked about the most common mistakes in the installation of SPK, the possibilities of social networks for the formation of professional communities.

The business program and the exposition of exhibition were visited by Vladimir Dedyukhin, First Vice President of the Russian Union of Builders and Alexander Ishin, Vice President of the National Association of Builders.

According to Vladimir Dedyukhin, the union supports specialized exhibitions and it is very important that not only the quality of materials presented by manufacturers is growing, but also that the participants of the Architectural Forum at MosBuild discuss topics such as smart cities, urban planning and BIM technologies, then there are those concepts and tools that will allow you to build quality housing.

Alexander Ishin noted that the 26th MosBuild exhibition is already taking place in 2021, and over the years it has become one of the most visited specialized events in the Russian Federation. “The formation of the industry depends on such events, and therefore, ultimately, the quality of life of citizens. And of course, it is very pleasant that we were able to get together offline,” emphasized the vice-president of the National Association of Builders.

The value of live communication was also noted by Olga Ivanova, Siegenia Marketing Director. “We thought that the exhibition this year would be much more modest, but in the end, we see great interest and high attendance, we met with all the partners we had planned. Our company not only presents its products at the exhibition, but also supports the Architectural Lecture Hall for the second year. We are grateful to the organizers and hope that in 2022 we will be able to get together without the restrictions imposed by the pandemic,” Olga Ivanova said.

“First of all, I would like to thanks to MosBuild team for the fact that in these difficult conditions we were able to hold an exhibition of such a scale. We exceeded all expectations in terms of the number of visitors and participants. Most of the global events in the construction and finishing industry have been postponed, and according to our forecasts, no exhibition of this scale will take place anywhere in the world before 2022. We express our deep gratitude to those participants who stayed with us and believed in our team. And today we can say that the 2022 exhibition will be even more ambitious both in terms of area and the number of countries represented,” said Yakov Syromyatnikov, director of the MosBuild exhibition.
