The 29th International Building and Interiors Trade Show MosBuild has come to an end in Moscow
The MosBuild 2024 exposition became the largest in its history and exceeded 1,400 participants from 20 countries
MosBuild has once again confirmed its status as the largest building and interiors exhibition in Russia and the CIS. It occupied about 80,000 sq. m in 11 halls of Crocus Expo. This year, more than 1,400 Russian and international companies exhibited in it, which is 1.5 times more than last year. Over 500 companies exhibited in the show for the first time.
Exhibitors from 20 countries presented their products in 15 market sectors: from construction and finishing materials to furniture and decorative items. The leading market players showed their new products at the show: Rusal, White Hills, Kerama Marazzi, Knauf, Melke, FUTURUSS, Schtandart, Alta-Profil, Albes, Aluminstroy, TD Ceramics and Clinker, Penetron, Syktyvkar Plywood Plant, Mosplitka, Manders, Tikkurila, Espocada, Magellan, Evroplast, Orac Decor, Salini, Iberis Group, San Marco, Santop, Melana, Arlight, Maytoni, Systeme Electric, Centrsvet, Beryoza Ceramica, Primavera, Ennface, Maimoon Ceramica, Monalisa, Art de Vivre, Bomond, Loymina, KT Exclusive, Wallpaper South, Affresco, Du&Ka, Goznak, ARTISHOCK, Venice Stone, INTERSTONE, Horizon, GranitInvest, Ferroni, Kastamonu, Alpine Floor, Coswick, Finex, ProfilDoors, Moorgen, Sofia, Volkhovets, Maria Furniture Factory, Verona Mobile, Parra and many others.
MosBuild 2024 for the first time represented a new “Stone” section supported by Karelforum with over 50 exhibitors. It included producers from the Northwestern Federal District, Siberia and Tatarstan, and a wide range of artificial and natural stone companies from Korea, Slovenia, China, Brazil and India.

“For many years, almost annually, we have been participating in MosBuild. This is a place to meet with significant partners, discuss plans, exchange opinions and demands, and hold personal communication. For us, this is a significant event and a starting point. If MosBuild has started, it means the new season is open,” said Evgenia Yuzhaninova, Commercial Director, White Hills.
In 2024, MosBuild has become the main Russian market event of the season in its industry, despite the forced postponement. For the first time, part of the exhibition halls was located in 11 Crocus Expo halls. In less than a month, the entire structure of the exhibition was redesigned, the optimal layout was preserved, and unprecedented security measures were created. Thanks to this, the exhibition not only retained the pool of participants, but also became the largest in its history in terms of the number of exhibitors. More than 57,500 specialists attended MosBuild 2024, including 21,431 representatives of wholesale and retail trade companies, 9,633 specialists in the field of construction and renovation, 10,409 designers and architects. 32,170 show visitors were represented top management.
“I never miss the opportunity to attend MosBuild. This year I’ve been here three times already and I’m thinking of stopping by only on the fourth and final day of the exhibition. Seeing everything in one place is much more convenient than endlessly visiting showrooms. In addition, most of the new products that companies present at their stands are not yet even on their websites,” noted Diana Balashova, one of Russia’s leading designers, decorator and TV presenter.
Business Programme
MosBuild 2024 business programme has become the most ambitious and multifaceted in the history of the exhibition. It was held in 10 content areas featuring over 300 speakers – key industry experts. Each site and section of the programme was aimed at a specific target audience and relevant topics: urban planning and architectural design, residential and public interior design, DIY market, production of building and finishing materials, management, marketing, consumer preferences in different market segments, legislation and more.
Architectural Lecture Hall, Decorium and Building Innovations and Master Classes Area have become the major business programme venues holding specialized conferences on individual housing construction and green technologies, as well as master classes for specialists.
For the second year in a row, the show hosted MosBuild Connect Studio – an interview point holding over 60 interviews with the industry experts, and Lectorium by Manders – a lecture hall for designers and decorator. One of the leading interior media, INTERIOR+DESIGN was a partner of both sites. For the 12th time, the exhibition hosted the DIY Forum, the key event of the DIY market; MosBuild programme also included “Smart City”, the event by the Russian Ministry of Construction, “Windows 360º” conference and “Window Futurism” business forum.
Every year the exhibition pays great attention to cooperation with designers and architects. Therefore, MosBuild 2024 introduced two content platforms made according to unique design projects. Decorium lecture hall was designed by RTUT bureau, who architects were inspired by new technologies, artificial intelligence, and timeless architecture. MosBuild Connect & Interior+Design studio was designed Horomystudio bureau with the focus on the Russian architectural identity.
“This show became a test for us, which we successfully passed. The entire team had to take unprecedented measures to ensure that the exhibition and business program were preserved and held at the high level that participants and visitors expect from us. Today we have already begun preparations for the next exhibition,” noted Yakov Syromyatnikov, director of the MosBuild exhibition.
